Day 2: BANGKOK CITY TOUR (B/)
Today we will make Bangkok city tour including the Royal Grand Palace, the Emerald Buddha, Wat Pho - the largest Buddhist temple with its colossal reclining Buddha.
Afternoon, you will visit take ferry to Wat Arun, locally known as Wat Chaeng, is situated on the west (Thonburi) bank of the Chao Phraya River. It is easily one of the most stunning temples in Bangkok, not only because of its riverside location, but also because the design is very different to the other temples you can visit in Bangkok. Wat Arun (or temple of the dawn) is partly made up of colourfully decorated spires and stands majestically over the water, next visit Wat Traimit, the Temple of the Golden Buddha, the temple is famous for its 900-years old five-and-a-half-ton solid gold image, and then transfer back to hotel. Day 3: FLOATING MARKET – CULTURAL SHOW (B/L)
Pick up from the hotels. Transfer to Ratchaburi Province.
Arrive the pier, and then enjoy the scenery of rural life by long tail speed boat to the floating market. At Damnernsaduak Floating Market almost untouched by the modern world you will enjoy watching the farmers selling food, fruits, flowers and many kind of local products in their boats. Then visit handicraft home industry, next you will transfer to Enjoy “The Thai Village” at Rose Garden where you can see the ceremonies of monk’s ordination, Thai wedding ceremony the displays of sword fighting, kick boxing and flock dancing. Then back to Bangkok, en-route visit 'PhraPathomChedi " – Big Buda in NakornPathom.
Today, you will transfer to Bangkok airport for your flight to Chiang Mai.
Upon arrival in Chiang Mai, meet guide and transfer to hotel for check in.
Late afternoon, you will enjoy the super northern Thai dinner with charming Fon-lep (Finger dance), Fon-tein (Candle dance) , Ramwong (Candle dance) . After Khantoke dinner enjoy yourself again by watching shows which are performed by the hill tribes Akha, Yao, Meo, Lisu and Karen. Overnight in Chiang Mai.
Visit the Mae Tang elephant Camp . See elephant at work. Take a memorable elephant riding 45 minutes through the jungle, visit the Lisu village. Then take the ox-cart riding back to the camp.
In the afternoon do adventurous bamboo rafting for 1 hour along Maetang River. The rest of the day is to visit the Orchid & Butterfly farm on the way back to Chiang Mai.
Overnight in Chiang Mai.
Drive to visit the hot spring on the way to Chiang Rai .Continue driving for 1.5 hours to White temple (Wat Rongkhun) . Then carry on to the three country borders meet which called ' Golden Triangle" take long tail boat on Khong River . After lunch, drive to Maesai , the Thailand & Myanmar border city . Finally, visit the Akha, Yao and Long Neck hill tribe villages on the way back to Chiang Mai. Overnight in Chiang Mai.
After check out , visit Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep, the most sacred temple containing a holy relic of the Lord Buddha . The temple compound offers an ethylating view of Chiang Mai city and surrounding countryside. A visit to Meo village will be made, then transfer to Airport for your flight to Hochiminh city.
Arrival in Ho Chi Minh City, this bustling metropolis, contradiction of its northern counterpart, is crowded with bikes and motorbikes, excited by numerous shopping area and sidewalk cafes. The guide and the car will transfer you to the hotel for check in. Overnight in HCMC.
Today we visit the Reunification Palace, the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Sai Gon Post Office and Ben Thanh market.
In the afternoon, we drive to Cu Chi Tunnels. At its height, the tunnel system stretched over 250km. from Saigon to the Cambodian border and was three levels deep. The network included innumerable trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers and kitchens.
Today the remaining tunnels have become a major tourist attraction giving the visitor a unique experience and a feel of what underground life during the U.S.-Vietnam War must have been like. Overnight in HCMC.
After breakfast, we will take a full day trip to the watery world of the Mekong Delta, just 1 hour and half by road from Ho Chi Minh City.
Upon arrival, we will take a boat trip along narrow waterways overhung with dense vegetation visiting the fish wharf, the 4 famous islands of Dragon, Unicorn, Turtle and Phoenix. Visit candy workshop then journey by sampan through the canals and mangrove forests where we watch the fishermen lay their fish traps. Enjoy time on the Unicorn Island visiting the local fruit, tea mixed with bee’s honey, and enjoy a locally produced folk show of traditional Mekong Delta music. Back to HCMC.
Free time until transfer to Tan Son Nhat airport for flight to HANOI. Warmly welcome in Hanoi. Transfer to hotel.
After short refreshment, you will stroll around the Old quarter which known for its 36 streets and former craft guilds to visit the local market, then you take one hour cyclo tour to visit the busy streets for shopping... Enjoy the evening water puppet performance. Overnight in Hanoi.
After breakfast at hotel, enjoy a morning city tour to some of the city’s attractions including the fascinating Ho Chi Minh mausoleum (close on Monday & Friday) and Quan Thanh pagoda on the shores of Truc Bach lake. This pagoda dates from the 11th century and is said to protect this region from outside invaders. Next, visit the temple of Literature known as the first university in Hanoi. Afternoon, we shall proceed to Ha Long Bay, one of Vietnam’s greatest natural wonders and was twice recognized as World’s Natural Heritage by UNESCO. Overnight in Ha Long bay.
After breakfast, take a 4-hour cruise on the emerald green waters of Halong among the 3,000 spectacular limestone Islands, visit grottoes and floating village. The cruise ends with a fresh seafood lunch on board. Back to Hanoi, free time to stroll around or shopping at the Old Quarter.
Overnight in Hanoi.
After breakfast at hotel, free at leisure until departure time for transfer to Noi Bai Airport for your flight back home.
