CENTRAL ATOLLS CLASSICAL ROUTE
This is the best well-known route in the Maldives but at the same time it is the one that offers the best and most varied dives. We go on this route 10 months a year (from August to May) with weekly departures. Thanks to that, we know every detail, atoll, passage, thilas and where and when it is convenient to approach every dive zone.
It is a 7-night route including 6-dive days on board with embarkation and disembarkation at the Male Airport (18 dives with 2-night dives).
The itinerary goes by North Male, South Male, Felidhoo and Ari Atolls.
The aim is to find pelagic, grey sharks, white tip sharks, black-tip sharks, and in some occasions, hammerheads and dolphins, eagle rays, schools of colorful fishes, morays, tuna fish, gild-head breams, groupers and turtles. Drifting dives in water passages and canals, thilas (submerged coral “seamounts”), cleaning stations where big mantas gather together to deworm themselves, will search for the whale shark (and if we are lucky will snorkel and even dive with the biggest fish). We will dive into a full-of-life wreck. Besides, there will be two of the most spectacular night dives in the world: one with mantas and the other with dozens of nurse sharks.
Desert islands and typical fishermen villages are also visited to discover and enjoy a bit more of the country and if the weather allows doing so we will even BBQ lunch on a desert beach.
Although if you are looking to relax, you can enjoy the solarium and 2 Jacuzzis on board, kayak, Paddle SUP…
All that will make an excellent and unforgettable and amazing Great Dive Travel for divers and non-divers.
CRUISE PROGRAM
Day 1 (Saturday): ARRIVAL TO MALE - EMBARK
Arrival at Male airport. One of our staff members will be waiting for you at Male Airport. You will then get onto our auxiliary boat Dhoni for the transfer to MALDIVES BLUE FORCE ONE for check in, briefing of the liveaboard, diving and plan itinerary. Dinner onboard.
Day 2 to 7 (Sunday to Friday): CENTRAL ATOLLS CLASSICAL ROUTE
The route will go through North Male, South Male, Felidhoo and Ari atolls. Daily dive program for certified divers including day dives, night dives and possibility of snorkel and dive with Whale sharks (total: 18 dives per week). For non-divers we will offer different activities such as snorkel, kayak, paddle SUP…. If the weather and logistic allow, we will have a BBQ lunch on a desert island and will visit a fisherman village.
On Friday afternoon we will anchorage next to Male. So, we will have the option to make a guided visit to Male.
Day 8 (Saturday): MALE AIRPORT
Disembark at Male Airport at 07.00 am. If the return flight leaves in the afternoon there is an optional day hotel option near the airport, and even free time to optionally visit Male until the time of the return flight.
DAY USE HOTEL IN MALE AIRPORT:
Please check your flight timetable to Male, arrival and departure timetable and the embark and disembark times. If you have plenty of time from the disembark (07.00 am on Saturday) and your return flight is in the evening, we recommend you to book a day use hotel next to Male airport, Hulhumale. There are different categories and options (with room, without room, with pool or not). Ask us for help if needed.
Disembarkation at 7.00am on Saturday at Male Airport.
Passengers holding EU nationality need to have their passport valid for at least six months since departure from Maldives.
Other nationalities check with Consulate/Embassy representatives conditions of entry in Maldives.
All payments on board can be in USD or €. Credit cards accepted with 3 % of surcharge. American Express is not accepted.
The diver is responsible for holding the corresponding Diving Certificate for dives to be done. If the diver doesn’t hold the required certificate or the guide in charge of going along with the divers considers, for any reason, that the client is not qualified for some dive, he will have full authority not to allow the client for such dive. Besides, Blue Force Diving won’t commit itself to make any deduction for that.
Due to sea conditions, weather conditions or any other factors, the boat/cruise staff reserves the right to change the route totally or partially without prior warning.No refund will be issued for such circumstances.
For all the clients that book sharing cabins, Blue Force reserves the right to change the number of the cabin. We will maintain always the rate and the category.
MODIFICATION AND CANCELLATION TERMS
Any change, cancellation, or modification to the booking must be evidenced in writing and should be confirmed by Blue Force Diving.
A cancellation fee will be applied considering the time of precedence before the departure date.
* 12 months or more prior to the departure date: 5% of the cruise rate
* 12 to 9 months prior to the departure date: 10% of the cruise rate
* 9 to 6 months prior to the departure date: 30% of the cruise rate
* 3 months or less prior to the departure date: 100% of the cruise rate
The cancellation of any additional booked service out of the regular fare will be subject to specific charges defined by the suppliers on each case. 100% non-refundable in some cases.
Price per person includes: round trip transfers from the airport to boat, shared double cabin full board accommodation, mineral water, 18 dives with S80 tanks , weights, dhoni and travel, dive and cancellation insurance (see coverage on www.blueforcefleet.com )
Price per person does not include: Flights to Male, Maldives taxes 155USD, Green tax 42 USD, service tax 130 USD, alcoholic drinks, soft drinks, NITROX USD 50 per person per week. "day use hotel" in Male the last day, diving rental equipment , S100 tanks, internet access, possible fuel increases and USD fluctuations
By accepting our offer in writing, you/you confirm that our terms and conditions have both been read and understood and that cancellation fees may apply if the trip is cancelled.
