On the day of arrival, travel from River Heads on thebarge crossing of your choice,arriving at Kingfisher Bay Resort on K’gari (Ferry time must be selected at time of booking). Check-in to accommodation (after 2.00pm).

Important Information

RECONFIRMATION: Unless otherwise stated, the tour operator REQUIRES all customers to ‘reconfirm’ their booking at least 48hrs prior to departure. Please use the below contact information to get in touch before their recommended timeframe and quote your unique booking number shown above under ‘Supplier Reference’. Operators ask you to do this to guarantee their passenger numbers, arrange pick up times and locations, and answer any last-minute queries. Please contact your travel agent for any non-urgent issues outside of this period.

DIETARY REQUIREMENTS: Please notify your travel agent of any dietary requirements, food allergies and/or medical conditions at the time of booking or at least 7-days prior to tour departure. Limited food options may be available on extended tours, forward planning is required to ensure the tour operator can accommodate any specific needs.

YOU SHOULD BRING: Please ensure you have pre-prepared what you should bring with you whilst on tour before departure. Some tour operators have luggage capacities and limited storage space. A general rule to abide by for day tours is a small day / backpack will be suitable to fit everything you need for your trip. For multi-day tours, a maximum 15kg soft bag or backpack will be generally acceptable to travel with. If you have any concerns or need further detail, please contact your travel agent to advise accordingly for your chosen tour.

MEETING / PICK UP POINT: Please ensure you have contacted the tour operator to ensure you are aware of your meeting point for your tour. If you have selected a pickup point (if a pickup is offered), please reconfirm with your tour operator to ensure you are ready at the pickup at the time specified to ensure a smooth start to the tour for all passengers.

Tour itinerary may change due to tides and weather conditions. All travellers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult. As this tour is off-road, we recommend that pregnant travellers or people with existing medical conditions seek medical advice before booking this tour. Travellers need to be independently mobile to access and disembark the 4WD buses and all tour sites visited
