Tanzania National Parks have opened up some great wilderness areas for walking safaris, and we are one of the few operators offering multi-day walking safaris in this spectacular area.
We walk in a wilderness area of the Ngorongoro eco-system, with armed National Parks’ guides and our guides, typically without a vehicle in sight!Â
Our safari travels into the best areas of this region, camping with the sounds of the African bush all around, and getting out on foot for three to five days, IN the Parks/Conservation areas, with a lightweight camping rig and support crew. Longer & shorter walks on request.
We have developed various walks/hikes, each one vastly different to the next in terms of the terrain covered and the type of scenery you will enjoy during your walk. The full itinerary for the ‘Empakaai-Natron’ itinerary includes a four day walk, but at certain times of year we recommend other routes.
