Discover scenic viewpoints, spot kangaroos and koalas in their natural habitat, walk along the treetops, learn about the region’s birdlife, and enjoy a tasty lunch in the great outdoors. This full-day Gold Coast adventure is by far our favorite and most popular experience in Southeast Queensland! Together with your local guide, you’ll explore the Gold Coast Beach and Hinterland areas, complete with guided walks, great views and a tasty food stop.
We’ll start our stunning nature walk with some scenic views, and a guided kangaroo and koala viewing excursion. We’ll stop for morning tea at a lookout before heading off for more wildlife-spotting along 4WD tracks amongst a forest of Eucalyptus trees.
We’ll continue with a rainforest walk to Curtis Falls in Tamborine National Park. The Tamborine escarpment is home to 85% of all the animal species found in the City of Gold Coast area, making it one of the best places to see native creatures in the wild. Be sure to bring your bathing suit, as we may be able to go swimming, weather permitting.
We’ll stop to enjoy a homemade lunch at a spot that offers a view of both the countryside and the city skyline.
From the land to the sky, we’ll take a fully guided treetop walk at O’Reillys Canopy, and go bird watching at Lamington National Park, which is part of the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia World Heritage area, and includes the most extensive areas of subtropical rainforest in the world.
At the end of your tour, we’ll return you to your hotel or other drop-off point of your choice (please arrange with us the day prior to your tour if you’d like an alternate drop-off than your hotel).

The animals we see and come across are wild and as such there will be no petting or touching. We do not visit a zoo on this experience.

For your Urban Adventure you will be in a small group of a maximum of 12 people.
Please wear comfortable clothing for walking. Dress for the weather and keep in mind it can be cool at some view spots during winter months.
This is a child-friendly tour. Children between the ages of 6 and 11 inclusively are permitted on this tour at the rate listed above. Please select ‘child’ above when booking. Children under the age of 6 are permitted to join this tour free of charge. Please inform us at the time of booking if you’ll be bringing a child under the age of 6. You can do so in the special request box on the checkout page.
