Explore the magic of the spice island of Zanzibar
The exotic island of Zanzibar is famed for its stunning beaches lapped by the warm Indian Ocean. Known as the Spice Island for the spices grown on plantations here, our pretty bungalows are a stone's throw away from the beach where diving and snorkelling reveal huge arrays of colourful tropical fish around the reef.
You are met on arrival and transferred to Kiwengwa, on the Eastern side of the island approx 1 hour. Kiwengwa offers wonderful beaches, fantastic reefs and our accommodation is a stones throw from the shore. This is a perfect spot to enjoy snorkelling or diving, fresh seafood, or simply the opportunity to relax all day and enjoy the warm Indian Ocean waters for the next two days
This morning you transfer to Zanzibars capital, Stone Town. Perhaps the best way to see Stone Town is on foot explore the old town bazaars, shops, mosques, palaces, courtyards alleyways and winding cobbled streets of this very Arab influenced town. Spices are grown in plantations nearby and a visit to the town market is a must as is the famous Foradhani Gardens evening food market
After breakfast youll have one last opportunity to buy any last minute souvenirs or take a walk along the promenade at Foradhani Gardens before your transfer back to the Airport or Ferry port.
