We'll meet at Santichai Prakan Park This park is a small park was built in 1999 to celebrate 72th anniversary of King Bhumibol Adulyadej (King Rama 9) located on Phra Athit Road and on the east bank of the Chao Phraya River. This park also houses the Santichaiprakarn Thorn Hall. Now, which is open to public (you will be just passing by on this tour). Next to the park is Phra Sumen Fort. In 1782 King Rama 1 established Bangkok as a capital city and built this fort to protect the city.
Next we will walk to visit Pipit Banglamphu museum where you can learn Thai history by using interactive technology that you haven’t found in any guide book.
Onward, move to Wat Bowan Niwet ViharaRajavaravihara. In 1824 this temple was built and considered as a major temple in Phra Nakhon district since King Rama IX was ordained in this temple and his ashes are housed here.
We will wrap up this tour with a walk through the street food market on Kao San Road which is one of the most famous in Thailand.
