Arrive Manila at any time (if using Qatar Airways you will arrive in the afternoon). Make your own way to the airport hotel and check in.

Breakfast. Make your own way to the airport and check in for your short fligth to Dumgaguete on Negros Island.

Upon arrival at Dumaguete you will be met by a representative of the dive resort and escorte to the hotel. Check in and maybe do an afternoon shore dive.

Rest of the day free

You will be staying at the Pura Vida Beach & Dive Resort for 4 nights on a BB-basis and have 9 dives included in your package (night dives can be booked at PHP 2250 per dive on air)

Diving from Pura Vida Beach & Dive Resort

Breakfast and transfer to the port where you will be taken a ferry across to the neighbouring island of Siquijor Island, primarily known for relaxed reef diving, healthy coral gardens, macro life and excellent visibility. Compared to destinations such as Dauin, Siquijor is less focused on black sand muck diving and more on colorful reefs, walls and easy tropical diving conditions.

Upon arrival at Siquijor Island you will be met by our dive centre and escorted to Lazi Beach Club Resort.

Check in and rest if the day free

You will be staying at the Lazi Beach Club Resort for 4 nights on a BB-basis and have 9 dives included in your package (extra dives can be booked at PHP 1850 per dive on air).

Diving at outer islands can be arranged at a surcharge (see under NOT INCLUDED)

About the diving in and around Siquijor Island
Set along the quieter coastline of Siquijor, Lazi Beach Club Resort offers access to a diverse and often overlooked dive destination in the central Philippines. While neighboring islands may attract more attention, Siquijor delivers relaxed reef diving, healthy coral formations, excellent visibility and a surprising amount of marine biodiversity. From colorful walls and turtle encounters to macro life hidden among coral slopes, diving around Siquijor combines easy tropical diving conditions with a laid-back island atmosphere.

Breakfast. Transfer to the port for your ferry across to Bohol and Tagbilaran, Bohol. The crossing takes around 2 hours and there are several departures daily.

Upon arrival at Tagbilaran, Bohol you will be met and escorted to the small island of Cabilao, located off the coast of Bohol on the southwest side. 

Check in at Pura Vida Cabilao Resort and rest of the day free (or maybe time for a nigth dive)

You will be staying at the Pura Vida Resort for 4 nights on a BB-basis and have 9 dives included in your package (extra dives can be booked at PHP 2250 per dive on air).

Located off the coast of Bohol in the central Philippines, Cabilao is one of the Visayas’ quieter dive destinations, known for steep walls, healthy coral reefs and excellent visibility. From your base at Pura Vida Cabilao Resort, divers have easy access to a variety of dive sites featuring dramatic drop-offs, schools of tropical fish, macro life and occasional pelagic encounters. Combined with relaxed island surroundings and relatively uncrowded dive sites, Cabilao offers a rewarding blend of reef and wall diving for photographers and recreational divers alike.

Breakfast. Transfer to Jagna port on Bohol and take the ferry across to Balbagon, Camiguin Island. The ferry normally depart around 14:00 and the crossing takes 4-5 hours weather depending.

Upon arrival at Camiguin Island you will be met by our local dive partner and escorte to your hotel on the island, Balai sa Baibai Dive Resort

You will be staying at the Balai sa Baibai Dive Resort for 5 nights on a BB-basis and have 12 dives included in your package (extra dives can be booked at EUR 30,60 per dive on air).

Surrounded by volcanic landscapes and located in the northern part of Mindanao in the Philippines, Camiguin offers a surprisingly diverse dive experience with healthy reefs, volcanic underwater terrain, walls, macro life and occasional pelagic encounters. From your base at Balai sa Baibai Dive Resort, divers can explore a wide variety of dive sites shaped by the island’s volcanic history. Compared to many of the Philippines’ more crowded dive destinations, Camiguin remains relatively untouched and delivers a quieter, more adventurous island diving atmosphere.

What Type of Diving Can You Experience?
Diving around Camiguin is known for:

• Volcanic reef diving
• Wall diving
• Coral reef diving
• Macro and critter diving
• Underwater photography
• Drift diving
• Black volcanic sand dives at selected sites

The island offers an interesting combination of coral-covered slopes, lava formations, underwater volcanic features and marine sanctuaries. Some sites feature steep walls descending into deep blue water, while others offer shallow coral gardens filled with reef life and macro subjects.

Compared to nearby Dauin, Camiguin is less specialized in muck diving but offers more variety in underwater topography and reef scenery.

Facts about the diving from Camiguin Island

• Currents: Currents around Camiguin are generally mild to moderate, although stronger conditions can occur around exposed points and deeper walls depending on tides and weather. Most dive sites remain comfortable for recreational divers, while a few drift-oriented sites can become more dynamic during changing tidal conditions.
• How is the diving: Diving conditions around Camiguin are typically very good throughout much of the year.
• Water temperatures: usually range between 27–30°C, creating comfortable conditions for multiple dives per day.
• Access to Dive Sites: Boat rides to most dive sites are relatively short, and many reefs remain healthy due to lower diving pressure compared to more heavily visited destinations in the Visayas.
• Sea conditions: are generally calmer during the dry season, while occasional weather systems may affect visibility and conditions during parts of the rainy season.
• Best Time to Dive: Camiguin can be dived year-round, but the best conditions are usually found between November and May when seas are calmer and rainfall is generally lower.The period between March and May often delivers particularly stable weather and clearer water conditions.
• Visibility: Visibility around Camiguin typically ranges between 15–30 meters depending on weather, currents and dive site location. Outer reefs and calmer weather periods can provide excellent visibility, especially around Mantigue Island and deeper wall sites.

What Can You See?
Marine biodiversity around Camiguin is highly varied. Divers commonly encounter:

• Sea turtles
• Frogfish
• Nudibranchs
• Ghost pipefish
• Seahorses
• Lionfish
• Moray eels
• Schools of reef fish
• Trevallies and snapper
• Reef octopus
• Soft coral gardens

Some deeper and more exposed sites may occasionally attract larger pelagic visitors, especially during periods with stronger currents.

What Camiguin is Not So Good For
While Camiguin offers highly enjoyable and varied diving, it is not primarily known for:

• Large shark encounters
• Consistent manta ray sightings
• Major wreck diving
• Extreme drift diving
• Large-scale liveaboard-style pelagic action
• Heavy macro specialization comparable to Daui

Instead, Camiguin stands out for its mix of volcanic underwater landscapes, healthy reefs and quieter dive environments.

Signature Dive Sites

• Sunken Cemetery: One of Camiguin’s most iconic dive locations featuring volcanic underwater scenery and reef life surrounding the famous submerged cemetery cross.
• Mantigue Island: Known for clear water, coral reefs, turtles and schools of reef fish.
• Old Volcano: A scenic dive site with volcanic rock formations, coral growth and macro opportunities.
• Jigdup Reef: Popular for coral gardens, reef fish and occasional drift conditions.
• Balingoan Wall: A deeper wall dive featuring schools of fish and blue-water scenery.

Diving around Camiguin offers a rewarding mix of volcanic underwater scenery, coral reefs and marine biodiversity in one of the Philippines’ more relaxed island settings. The island combines healthy reef systems, varied topography and warm tropical waters with relatively uncrowded dive sites and a strong sense of exploration. While Camiguin is not a destination focused on large pelagic encounters or major wreck diving, it delivers a highly enjoyable balance of reef, wall and macro diving that makes it an excellent addition to a multi-island dive adventure through the central Philippines.

After completing 39 dives across the central Philippines, your final day in Camiguin offers the perfect opportunity for a relaxing decompression day while exploring one of the country’s most interesting volcanic islands.

Often called the “Island Born of Fire,” Camiguin is famous for its volcanoes, lush tropical scenery, waterfalls, hot springs and laid-back atmosphere. Despite its small size, the island offers a surprising variety of landscapes and experiences beyond diving.

During your final day, you can explore:

• White Island Sandbar — a beautiful white sandbank with panoramic views of Camiguin’s volcanoes and coastline
• Katibawasan Falls — one of the island’s best-known waterfalls surrounded by dense tropical vegetation
• Ardent Hot Springs — natural volcanic hot springs ideal for relaxing tired muscles after days of diving
• Sunken Cemetery — one of Camiguin’s most iconic historical landmarks created after a volcanic eruption in the 1870s
• Old Spanish Church Ruins — reminders of the island’s colonial history and volcanic past
• Local markets and seaside villages — offering fresh seafood, tropical fruit and a slower pace of island life

Camiguin is also known for its volcanic landscapes, friendly local culture and scenic coastal roads that make exploring the island both easy and enjoyable.

A decompression day here is more than simply waiting before your flight — it becomes a memorable final chapter of the journey, combining relaxation, island exploration and the chance to experience another side of the Philippines beyond the underwater world.

Your epic island hopping expedition is at its end. Transfer to Camiguin airport (or you can take the ferry) back to Cebu Island.

As the Phillippines is ofter hit by strong winds and heavy seas impacting the transportation by land, sea and air we have included an extra day in order to have some flexibility if fligths or ferries are cancelled.

Upon arrival in Cebu you have a private transfer to your final nigth stay at a beach resort on Mactan Island.

Check out is normally at 12:00 (but we can always ask for a late check out) depending on your departure fligth time. As this package is based on using the services of Qatar Airways, which depart around 23:00 you might want to consider this option.
