Aoleang Monyü is an ancient spring festival celebrated by all Konyaks in the first week of Aoleang lee (April) since time immemorial. Aoleang is observed to mark the end of the old year and to welcome the new-year beginning with spring. Prayers are offered to God for a bountiful harvest. This festival is celebrated annually as part of the Mini Hornbill Tribal Festival. Display of cultural performances and indigenous games Exhibition cum sale of handloom & handicrafts products Display and sale of local flora and vegetation specific to the area. Nature Village walks/ trekking/ Adventure camps/ photography contests etc.

In afternoon Guide tour of Old Delhi’s Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India and is one of the last architectural works of the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan - whose best work is the Taj Mahal. Walk through the colorful shopping bazaar known as Chandni Chowk ("Moonlit Street"), enjoy Rickshaw ride at Chandni Chowk. Visit The Red Fort a majestic Fort, Raj Ghat, the cremation site of Father of Nation, Mahatma Gandhi.
Evening visit Gurudwara Bangla Sahib is one of the most prominent Sikh gurdwaras, or Sikh house of worship, in Delhi, India, and known for its association with the eighth Sikh Guru, Guru Har Krishan, as well as the holy pond inside its complex, known as the "Sarovar. Orientation tour of “Lyutens” Delhi - named after the leading British architect Sir Edwin Landseer Lyutens. Drive past some of magnificent monuments designed by him such as India Gate and Viceroy's House - now known as the Rashtrapati Bhavan (President Palace)

Morning post breakfast check out and transfer to Delhi airport to connect flight for Dibrugarh.
Meet your guide and car at Dibrugar airport, after a brief introduction of the tour we shall drive towards, Mon. It is the home of the Konyak Nagas who were the last of the headhunters. They are famous for their accomplished craftsmanship in making woodcarvings, headgears, necklaces etc.

Today we shall explore Mon town, local market, we will visit Mon village meeting the Chief of the village, his court, etc. meeting locals, visit the stone megalithic historical importance. Later we shall visit Chui village which still retains its local charms.

After leisure breakfast drive to nearby village called Hongphoi. One can meet the tattooed Konyak elders and interact with them in Morung and also visit the modest king's house.

Today we shall explore Lngwa village, if the Aoleang festival happens in this village it will be a bonus!
Aoleang is a main festival of this tribe to mark the beginning of their agricultural cycle of the season. The main attraction of this festival is the dances in colorful traditional attires, beating of log drums in their community hall called "Morung" and muzzle loading gunfire. Longwa is situated in the eastern most tip of Nagaland and the village itself is right on the border in between India and Myanmar. The villages are ruled by the hereditary chief the Angh (king). The house of the Angh of Longwa is situated half in India and half in Burma in the fantastic picturesque place, among the emerald hills. Explore the village to meet and interact with the Angh, who has 16 villages in Myanmar and 4 villages in Indian territory under his sovereignty.
Drive back to our hotel in Mon for overnight.
Today we shall explore the village which will be hosting the Aoleang Festival, be it in Mon Town or in any of the tribal villages
Mon – Mokokchung (9/10 hrs drive)
Today after breakfast we shall drive toward the plain of Assam which is blessed with the mighty Brahmaputra river, tea, etc. We shall have lunch in a local Dhaba.
Further drive to Mokokchung, the hometown of the Ao Nagas.
we don’t have the leisure sightseeing, much today.

Breakfast at your hotel and off to explore the Ao villages.
Drive for about an hour to Moponchuket village where we will visit some wood carving which roughly interprets about the life-cycle of the Ao in particular and Nagas in general.
Next we shall hike to Chami village which was considered to be a offering good view and a relax mode to the American missionaries. Later drive to Ungma village which is one of the oldest villages among the Ao.
Mokokchung – Kohima
After breakfast we shall drive to Kohima.
Enroute visit Longkhum village which was known as the vanguard of the Ao community. Later have a short visit to Longsa village of Lotha tribe village
Kohima
Today we shall explore places in and around Kohima. Start with cemetery, local bazaar, cathedral church. Next explore Kisama, the heritage complex where the annual hornbill festival is celebrated.
Later drive to Kigwema village, a parental village from where many present Angami Naga villages have migrated from. We shall come across traditional houses, morungs, meet locals and interact with them.
Kohima – Khonoma
Morning breakfast at your hotel. Drive for about an hour to Khonoma “the first green village of the country” Check into your homestay
Later tour the village visiting ceremonial gates, morung, age-group house, meet local craftsman, etc. Post lunch take a ‘nature walk’ towards the alder tree cultivation, we will get to hear bird’s chirping, herbal plants, wild edible vegetables.
Towards the evening we shall witness some indigenous games.

Drive for 2 hours to Dimapur to connect your flight for Delhi Airport at 1335 hrs. & arrives at 1640 hrs. & connect your international flight back home from same airport.
